Writers Write

I just — yes, just this moment — confess that although I seek to bring glory to You, O God; I also want my writings to be read. After all, writers write to be read. Not much point in word-craft, otherwise.

Thank You, dear Heavenly Father, for the gift of word-craft. This is a gift You gave me from a young age; one that completely failed to impress the LSAT, but one that makes me happier than any other gift You’ve bestowed. Thanks for forgiving me for my failings, my faults, and my sins. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

Let me encourage you with this Carley; you have a marvelous ability to take the truths of God’s Word literally off their pages of paper and put them into the hearts of your readers. You are aspiring and well read. I look forward to spending a moment of each day encountering what God has said to you, and in turn, to me. Thanks and God bless for a wonderful site that gives glory to only one – – Jesus.

By the way, another daily stop for me, The Wordsmith’s Desk, posted a blog that was very meaningful and even changed my entire outlook on blogging. Hope I’m not overextending my welcome by offering a link, but I think he states perfectly what we are out here doing.

    • It is nice to have thoughts about Jesus, who is the Son of God but not God the son. The Only One we have to pray to and adore is God the Father. Though we have to accept Jesus as our Saviour we should always keep clear what position this Lamb of God had and has. He is our only Mediator, namely the mediator between man and God.

As I responded on another post, Jesus is the Son of God; He is more than mediator between man and God. He is mediator between man and Himself, as He is God. Your theology is crooked. Take care; love in Christ.

You can never overstay your welcome! mtsweat. Thanks so very much for the encouraging words. Indeed, to God be the glory!

And I will check out “The Wordsmith’s Desk” again — yep, I’ve visited there at least once or twice, I’m sure.

God bless you and yours, Carley
